EXTENSION TO HISTORIC COTTAGE

Pewesey Cottage is a beautiful thatched cottage dating back some 200 years, the house is located in the village of Sharcott within the rolling Wiltshire countryside. The architectural feasibility and planning application looked to extend the existing home with a new additional living space that could accommodate the family to use, to enjoy the amazing location.

The architectural proposal looks to introduce a simple brick retaining wall against the existing field. This then enables a simple multi use space, with a pre patented copper barrel vaulted roof and a fully glazed façade. A new courtyard space has been introduced for the family to enjoy time within the rural countryside.
